Agia Galini is one of the famous internationally tourist resort, which is situated 54 km south-east of Rethymno, built on the cliffs, with a long beach. Agia Galini can be visited by bus from Rethymno or Heraklion. The visitor by car, can visit the nearby beach at Matala and the archaeological sites of Festos. Also, visitors can visit Paximadia islands travelling with local boats. |
