DAY 1
Trains are the most spacious and comfortable mode of travel in Greece. Catch the train to Kalambaka at 10:22 am from Thessaloniki Railway Station and enjoy a trip that will give you the chance to admire the beauty of the Greek countryside. Upon your arrival in Kalambaka, at around 13:30, our English speaking driver will be waiting for you at the train station holding a signboard with your name on it to transfer you to your hotel. Late in the afternoon, our VIP mini bus will pick you up from the hotel to join 'Meteora Sunset Tour*' to admire breathtaking views of Meteora and to discover the hidden gems of this place.

DAY 2
For the next morning we offer you the chance to choose the activity you wish: the 'Half-Day morning Tour of Meteora*' to see the main attractions, the monasteries of Meteora with a VIP minibus, or the 'Hiking Tour of Meteora*' to walk among the rock giants. Experience amazing sceneries and visit monuments of the Byzantine period, the monasteries of Meteora and learn their history. After this morning tour, at around 13:00, the bus will drop you back to your hotel. The evening is free for you to explore the area on your own.

DAY 3
The morning is free. In the evening a taxi transfer from your hotel at 17:00 to the local train station at kalambaka will be arranged for you. At 17:22 pm the train departs from Kalambaka, and arrives at 22:40 to Thessaloniki.

Bookings must be made at least 2 days prior to the trip. Confirmation for this product will be received after booking, subject to availability. In the morning tour you can choose to take your luggage with you to be dropped-off later on at the end of the tour in the town of Kalambaka. Visit Meteora offices located at the center and within walking distance from the train station offer safe storage for your luggage until train's departure time. Any participants under the age of 12 must have a parent or guardian present to sign on their behalf. Wear closed toed shoes.
There are many beautiful sights. You are encouraged to bring a camera along. Weather will not affect the operation of the tours. However if canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund. The monasteries have a strict dress code men must wear trousers and long sleeves, women must wear a long skirt. If you do turn up in shorts trousers and shirts will be provided. Meeting Point: Athens Train Station do turn up in shorts trousers and shirts will be provided.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received within 30 days of departure will incur a penalty which will be the price of train tickets.
Cancellations received within 5 days of departure will incur a penalty of 50% per person.
Cancellations received within 24 hours of departure will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and fully refund affected customers, although we will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
