The hotel enjoys a scenic elevated position, set against the backdrop of Mount Pantokrator, just off the main road leading into the popular resort of Kassiopi. The resort centre is within easy walking distance and home to a good selection of restaurants, traditional tavernas, bars and shops. There is also picturesque marina, where you relax with a glass of wine and watch the world drift by. Best of all, Kassiopi is home to three lovely beaches with a mixture of soft sands and pebbles, with shallow waters that are suitable for children. The warm, clear Ionian waters also provide the perfect setting for scuba diving.

 

The hotel features an inviting outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a spacious sun terrace. The terrace is furnished with ample sun loungers and parasols, providing the ideal place to bask in the glorious Greek sunshine!  Reception is open between 9am an 9pm and the friendly staff are happy to provide useful services such as currency exchange and luggage storage. The hotel also provides book swap scheme, so you’ll never be short of a good read to enjoy by the pool. Onsite parking is available for those arriving with their own transport.

The hotel offers a very pleasant range of studios (for up to three) and apartments (for up to five), all of which are spacious, tastefully decorated and pristine. All come with an en suite bathroom and a balcony or terrace, as well as kitchen facilities, which provide a great way of reducing holiday costs. Air conditioning and safety deposit boxes are also available and payable locally. There are two supermarkets in the vicinity of the hotel, where self-catering guests can find everything needed to create their own Mediterranean inspired meals.

Kassiopi is located approximately 36 kilometres from Corfu town on the north east coast of the island. It is a lively summer holiday resort with a small harbour and it offers a wide choice of tavernas and bars for dining and entertainment.

Ancient Kassiopi was founded in 281 BC by residents of the Epirot town of the same name, who were brought here by King Pyrros when he captured the island. The name (Kassion Oro) derives from the Temple of Kassios Zeus, which was built in the area in a prominent position.. The temple no longer exists but is thought to have occupied the site of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Kassiopitras. The oldest fortress on the island is found in Kassiopi, which was built by the Romans, and is an indication of the strategic importance of the site. The fortress was demolished by the Venetians, and the ruins which stand today belong to the castle which was later built on the site.
