Set in the southwest of Corfu, St George is blessed with one of the best beaches on the island. The golden sand stretches as far as the eye can see and for those who want to do more than laze in the sun, water-sports are available. There’s a good selection of tavernas and bars dotted along the road as well as supermarkets and gift shops.

St George is an ideal base for those who like walking and cycling. A short walk through the olive groves takes you to the quaint 10th century village of Argirades where life goes on as it has been for years. Also north of St George is Lake Korrision, a nature reserve great for bird watching. St George really does have something for everyone.
