The town of Rhodos and the international airport are 55 km away. The town is divided into two parts, the old town surrounded by a medieval fortress’s wall and the modern new town. Lovers of surfing may find their luck in the 25-km-away Prasonisi, in the southern corner of the island where the Mediterranean and the Aegan seas meet.
