Akti Rooms is a small, elegant, family complex. It is one of the first hotels in Astypalea, with a history of more than 2 decades.
It is built and decorated according to the traditional Astypalean architecture, in two levels and with a capacity of 7 double rooms and 3 studios.
At the last renovation of 2007, we made sure we enhanced functionality and comfort, without affecting its traditional elements.

Akti Seafood Restaurant: Undoubtedly, it is one of the best seafood restaurant of the island that has forged a 15 year reputation for dining excellence. Enjoys an idyllic location, as it seems to literally hang over the sea, offering a magnificent view of the Venetian Castle and the amphitheatrically built Chora. It compromises 6 levels, with the first 3 to form a private dining tables area, curved on the rock, ideal for exclusive moments of gastronomic superior quality. The menu is solely formed with fresh fish, seafood dishes, and authentic local handmade delicacies. It is easy to make the right associations for the quality of the ingredients when you consider that another appellation of Astypalea is Ichtheoessa (meaning, very rich in fish and sea life). Therefore, all dishes are a blend of Aegean sea tastes, local herbs and spices, with a modern Greek cuisine finishing. While, our cellar covers a wide variety of Greek established brands. Dining at Akti Seafood Restaurant is definitely a supreme gastronomic experience at a picturesque location.
Studios: There are 3 available studios in Akti Rooms, 2 that are two-rooms and 1 that is single-room. They are located in both levels of the complex. Studios can accommodate two persons in a double bed with the potential of accommodating an extra person in a single bed, and offer kitchen with basic cooking utensils and serving set, writing desk, bathroom shower, air conditioning, television, refrigerator and bathroom accessories set. All studios have a seperate balcony with a stunning view of Pera Gialos, Chora and the castle of Astypalea.
Double rooms: There are 7 double rooms available at Akti Rooms, located at both levels of the complex. All double rooms can accommodating two persons in a double bed, and offer writing desk, bathroom with shower and bathroom accessories set, air conditioning, television and refrigerator. They have seperate balconies with a stunning view of Pera Gialos, Chora and the castle of Astypalea.
Akti Rooms is built on a rocky area, exactly before the sea, on the left side of Pera Gyalos bay. It enjoys a tremendous view to the picturesque small port, the amphitheatrically built Chora and the Venetian Castle of Astypalea.
Akti Rooms is just 150m from Pera Gyalos beach and roughly 1.000m from the central square of Chora which is dominated by the figures of the old windmills.
