Elegantly spread over 1.5 acres of land in Agios Loukas in Artemonas, surrounded by stunning courtyards and verandas offering panoramic views of the countryside, the villages of Pano and Kato Petalli, Apollonia, Exambela and the Aegean Sea in the distance, the Psacharopoulos Neoclassical House is a detached two-storey traditional house.

The imposing 2-storey Psacharopoulos house, one of the rare neoclassical buildings on the island, is part of the traditional settlement of Artemonas, surrounded by large gardens and airy courtyards. One or two families or a large group of 8 to 9 people can handle it.

The house was built in two levels and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 persons. On the ground floor one can find a traditional wooden kitchen and the dining area, two bathrooms, one WC, a small single bedroom and the old cellar of the house.

A double set of stairs leads to the first floor which consists of five bedrooms (two with double bed, one with twin beds, and two with semi-double beds that are suitable for single use), a study room that can be used as an office and a comfortable living room with a balcony offering a great view to the island’s traditional villages. The high ceiling rooms, furnished with the family's old treasures, preserve a sense of magnificence.

The house is not air conditioned, however due to its thick stone walls it preserves coolness throughout the summer. The house is also equipped with the Stereo with CD player, WI-Fi internet access, Fax, printer, and barbeque on the terrace. Pets are welcome.

The Psacharopoulos Neoclassical house was built in Sifnos during the middle of the 19th century, right on the edge of Artemonas, a very quiet, traditional and unspoiled village which until today preserves its authentic atmosphere. Although the house ensures great privacy to the visitor because of its secluded position in a quiet neighborhood, it is less than a 5-minute walk to the main square of Artemonas where several restaurants, bakeries, shops and bus stop are. The center of Apollonia is within 1km from the house, while the nearest sandy beach is 6km away.
