Next to the dunes with the cedar trees, Finikas Naxos Hotel is a truly beautiful place to discover, wander among them and see this exceptional natural beauty. 

The Temple of the Goddess Demeter, in the village of Sangri, is near the Finikas Naxos Hotel. Constructed in the 6th century BC, the temple has been partially rebuilt, although many of the finds are in the nearby museum.In good condition, the temple was saved and is now a very valuable archaeological site that was awarded the Europa Nostra competition. 

You may also visit the monastery of St. Eleftherios and the Tower of Bazeos, a uniquely renovated tower where many art exhibits are held indoors during summer time, while the Naxos Festival takes place outside the tower.
