The front terrace of the Vasilakis Apartments is also home to the family's snack bar - tavern, where Alex prepares the finest home made local dishes, accompanied by a well-researched selection of local wines and raki. There is not one guest who can resist Alex's cooking...

The quaint Vasilakis Apartments, as guests fondly call them, have a limited number of studios and one-bedroom apartments (11 all together). They are ideally suited for the budget traveller, offering simple, well looked after accommodation.

All studios and one-bedroom apartments feature private bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette with dining table and chairs and private balcony or shady terrace that look out on our little garden.

Stalis is a place with many aspects that combines splendid beaches, stunning landscapes and charming mountain villages with a touch of traditional charm.  It is conveniently located along the northern coast of Crete, between Malia and Hersonissos.

Stalis is a cozy beach resort with inviting places, bars and restaurants and, of course, a beautiful sandy beach that attracts visitors who are looking for a place to relax and unwind. Stalis is more quiet than Malia and therefore a good choice to spend your holidays if you prefer things a little calmer, but still want to be in a central, easy to access, location. From Stalis you can reach Malia by foot in about 20 minutes.

The beach cultures of Stalis is of the most developed on the island. With 6km of fine, sandy beaches and access to a gradually deepening sea, the beaches belong to the area’s most treasured assets.

Sports enthusiasts can live it up with the wide array of water sports that are offered like snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing, parasailing and beach volley ball.
