Villa Kerasia, an old traditional family house of 1883, is located in Vlahiana 16 km southwest of the town of Heraklion, next to the main road to Messara.

Between 2002-2004 the scheduled buildings were restored with great respect to the environment and their architecture.

The are α is appropriate for walking through the old trails that drive to the closer Byzantine churches. The international track (E4) that crosses next to the settlement, leads to the organized shelter of the mountaineering club (Prinos, 1200m height).
