The traditional houses, with the beautiful flower names of Anthurium (Anthurio), Sunflower (Ilianthos), Iris (Irida), Lilium (Krinos) and Amaryllis (amaryllis) are built around a courtyard full of flowers in pots and flower beds, adding flavors and colors in space, with the main colors of the bougainvillea, the jasmine and the lemon tree.
The houses are restored with full respect for tradition and decorated with taste and love for all of our guests. Anthurium, Sunflower and Iris have their own corner of the courtyard, so that everyone has their privacy among the flowers. Inside the houses there are antiques and relics of the old era that came before us over generations and generations of our family and other Cretan families.
Lilium is different, escaping from the traditional style and based on a more modern touch so that within the house the prevailing is white color and stainless steel.
The houses are fully equipped with appliances, television, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and individual safe. All bathrooms in each apartment have a shower. The cleaning with change of linen (sheets, towels) is held twice a week.
AMARYLLIS (symbolizes pride, determination and brilliant beauty): A stone, small apartment of 25sqm which accommodates up to 2 persons is the most isolated of all, since the entrance is not from the flowery courtyard. Its own garden is the culmination of a paved path surrounded by flowers and trees. There is a cozy combined living dining area and kitchenette, a shower room, and the bedroom which is at a low ceiling mezzanine level.
ANTHURIUM (symbolizes hospitality) is a stone walled maisonette of 50sqm, decorated in traditional Cretan rustic style. Stone floors greet your footsteps as you wander into the ground floor, where the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom reside, as well as a double bed on a low ceiling mezzanine level. The staircase leads to a large bedroom which can accommodate up to 3 persons. The bedroom is perhaps the brightest of all, as the sun's rays can come in the room either by the window, by the wooden balcony, or by the terrace with dozens of flowers. Equipped with electric heating and air-conditioning for your comfort whatever the season.
IRIS (symbolizes protection) is an apartment of 60sqm, built on one level. From the entrance, one finds the kitchen/living room with a large kitchen and a simple and comfortable dining table and stone fireplace. Two wooden doors lead off to the bedrooms, One bedroom has a double wooden renovated bed and a dressing table, while pink flowers of bougainvillea pop up its window, along with its en suite shower room. The other houses two single wooden beds and traditional furniture ,an en suite shower room and also access to a private wooden balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. These rooms have central heating and a/c in each bedroom, and you are welcome to light an evening fire in the living room..
SUNFLOWER (symbolizes dignity, devotion and glory of divine love) is a 80 sqm stone maisonette, decorated in traditional rustic style. On the ground floor is the kitchen, decorated with many items from the 'household of a grandmother'. The fireplace creates a romantic corner at the dining room, whilst on the same floor, there is a large room encompassing a cozy living room and a spacious traditional wooden low ceiling mezzanine. The stairs outside the room lead to the shower room and bedroom of the upper floor, which is decorated with a double built bed, in the old style, a wooden couch and other small traditional elements to complement the desired look. From the bedroom there is access to the terrace with the flowers to admire the view over the Mediterranean Sea. It has central heating and a/c and can accommodate up to 5 persons.
LILIUM (symbolizes innocence, temptation, fertility, love and glory): For the visitor who likes the modern touches, we present our luxurious 50sqm apartment which perfectly combines simplicity with style & design. This area can accommodate up to 2 adults, the stylish kitchen has integrated appliances, while in the cozy bathroom you can enjoy a hydro massage shower. The bedroom with large double orthopedic bed is in the mezzanine, which reached via oak polished steps. The stainless steel surrounded fireplace, warms visitors during winter, while the private terrace helps them stretch their eyes across the horizon that unfolds before them, stretching to the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
