Vantaris Beach is characterized by its design and arrangement, as it is spaced out and decorated as a traditional village and consists of a central building and 6 two storey buildings. It offers the perfect location, just above the Kavros beach with wonderful sea views.

Starting on the highway from Chania – Rethymno the luxurious Vantaris Beach ends up at Kavros beach with its crystal clear waters and golden sands, 4 km from Georgioupolis.

The location is very popular with nature lovers as it combines mountain, sea, wildlife and landscapes of incomparable beauty such as the Lake Kournas located a few kilometers away which has been included in the Natura 2000 network and is a protected area for birdlife.

Food & Beverages

Main Restaurant Knossos
Knossos is the hotel’s main restaurant which overlooks the beach of Kavros. Here the visitor can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals are served as a buffet, hot and cold meals and there is a specially designated corner where our experienced chefs cook many of the dishes from the menu in front of guests.
An assortment of hot and cold salads and Cretan and international cuisine is served. There is enough room to accommodate all the guests located in the hotel simultaneously.

Greek nights are also organized here once a week with BBQ roasts and traditional Cretan and Greek dances.

Restaurant A-la-carte and beach bar Aptera
The A-la-carte restaurant offers hearty meals of Cretan and international cuisine.
In the same area there is also the hotel’s beach bar where you can enjoy a coffee or a snack overlooking the lush gardens and the deep blue sea of the horizon of Kavros.

It is here where the hotel’s beach party is also organized.

This Resort Hotel consists of 143 Rooms ( Singles & Doubles ), 40 of which are located in the Main Building and the remainder are Bungalows . The architectural style of the Hotel and lush Gardens blend naturally with the unspoiled beauty of Western Crete and the green pathways lead you down to one of the Island's longest and most beautiful Sandy Beach .

All the Rooms are equipped with Self Controlled Air Conditioning / Heating, Bathroom, Hairdryer, Direct Dial Telephone, Color TV, Radio, Mini Bar, Safe Deposit Box and Terrace or Balcony.

Vantaris Beach Hotel is located North West of the Aegean Island of Crete, in Kavros close to the Lake of Kournas, the only sweet water lake in Crete. Situated between Chania the principal Town in the western region and Rethymnon the third largest Town in Crete, 45 km from Chania Airport and Town, 100 km from Heraklion Airport and Town, 18 km from Rethymnon Town.
