Pyrgos Village is a complex of luxury traditional stone villas. Lying under the medieval castle of Volissos - Chios Island and around the historical church of Agios Georgios, gives the impression of a private extremely beautiful village. The properties are of 5 star standards.

The idea was germinated in 1989. The first house was then restored and today is the biggest one in the settlement. Having this as a starting-point, an important work was realized and the child's dream of the revival of Volissos village was fulfilled.

The design of the centre, with the imposing Byzantine castle above, involves stone and wood as the main elements of the complex.

1 Bedroom houses. The houses have one bedroom for two adults. In the most of them there is a separate living room, and the square meters are from 27 up to 69, for each villa.

Extra 1 Bedroom houses. The houses have one bedroom for two adults, and a separate living room, in two levels. Some of them have extra spaces, such as inde-pendent kitchen in a different level, big terraces and /or balconies, etc. The square meters are from 50 up to 99, for each villa. Some of them are equipped with sofa-extra bed, which can accept one child from 2 up to 18 years, without extra charge.

2 Bedrooms houses. The houses have two bedrooms for four adults maximum. The-re is a separate living-room, and the square meters are from 75 up to 85, for each villa.

Extra 2 Bedrooms houses. The houses have at least two bedrooms for four adults maximum and separate living room, in two or three levels. Some of them have extra spaces, such as independent kitchen in a different level, big terraces and /or balconies, etc. The square meters are from 142 up to 150, for each villa. Some of them are equipped with sofa-extra bed, which can accept one child from 2 up to 18 years, without extra charge.

3 Bedrooms houses. The houses have at least three bedrooms for six adults maxi-mum, and separate living room, in two or three levels. There are extra spaces, such as independent kitchen in a different level, big terraces and /or balconies, etc. The square meters are from 150 up to 172, for each villa. Some of them are equipped with child room, which can accept one child from 2 up to 18 years, without extra charge.

By Airplane

• There are daily flights, 40 minutes, from Athens to the airport of Chios, 4Km from Chios Town.
• There are flights from Thessaloniki to the airport of Chios at least three times a week.

By Boat

• There is daily service from Piraeus to the port of Chios. The distance is 153 nautical miles and the trip takes 8-9 hours.
• There is weekly service from Thessaloniki. The distance is 200 nautical miles and the trip takes 21 hours.
• There are two weekly services from Kavala to the port of Chios. The distance is 177 nautical miles and the trip takes 17 hours.
• In the summer, regular service links the port of Chios to the Dodecanese and Chesme of Turkey.
