Ballas Apartments opened in 1981 and since then we try our best to offer high quality holidays to our guests and friends.
Our studios and apartments are located on the beach of Agia Efimia, just 40 meters from the beautiful sandy beach offering stunning views of the picturesque bay of Agia Efimia and the island of Ithaca. In a very nice spot on the quieter side of the village, Ballas Apartments are very close to the taverns, cafes, local shops and supermarkets that the location has to offer.
Many beautiful beaches and great sights are within walking distance or just a few minutes drive. The famous Myrtos Beach is 9 km away, while the Melissani Cave is 7 km away. Also nearby are the famous beaches of Antissamos and Agia Paraskevi, as well as many charming small beaches with white pebbles on the way to Sami, many of which are considered to be the most beautiful little bays of the island, with stunning waters and turquoise colors.
Our goal is to offer you comfortable, clean, fully equipped accommodation and make your holidays better, quieter and more enjoyable. There is a large choice of budget apartments and apartments for 2 or 3 people. All apartments have balconies overlooking the Ionian Sea or distant mountains.
The warm Kefalonian hospitality and good service is very important for us. We are very happy to have so many repetitive visitors from all the countries of the earth, who love and do not change our island.

Agia Efimia is located in the enchanting Pylaros Valley area of Kefalonia - an area designated as being of outstanding natural beauty. Located on the east coast of Kefalonia, this is a fabulous base from where you can easily explore the rest of the island, both the north and south of Kefalonia are no more than one hour away by road.

The traditional architecture, the hospitable residents, the magnificent sceneries, the picturesque bay with the fish taverns, the restaurants, cafes and bars, the endless view of the Ionian Sea and of the island of Ithaca , the green landscapes and the crystal waters, create an ideal place for the summer holidays. In the summertime many sailing boats gather here to find supplies and a good rest from the more frequented places of the Ionian.
Agia Efimia Kefalonia consists of a collection of tranquil bays with beautiful pebble beaches. Ballas Apartments in Agia Efimia Kefalonia are just 1,5 km from these beaches, making them easily accessible on foot. Also within walking distance are the local super markets, tavernas, cafe bars as well as the scuba diving school.

Using Agia Efimia as a base you can plan local excursions to visit Melisani Lake which is about 15 mins drive away near the village of Karovomilos with its duckpond and waterwheel. A few more minutes drive brings you to the port of Sami which has ferry services across to Ithaca and the Greek mainland and a selection of shops and restaurants. Myrtos Beach is at 9 km, while very close you will find the famous Antisamos and Agia Paraskevi Beaches.
The picturesque village of Agia Efimia Kefalonia is a traditional Ionian settlement ideal for relaxing vacations in its serene tranquility.
