Françoise Hotel is eight kilometers away from Hermoupolis, at the west side of the island, just 200 meters away from the magnificent sandy beach of Galissas.

Among other things our hotel is famous for the breakfast that it offers, made of various traditional ingredients.

A typical breakfast meal consists of home-made jams, the Greek traditional Fanouropita cake, the traditional loukoumi delight, the local kopanisti creamy cheese, fresh fruit and desiccated figs.

Built on the namesake, the beautiful sandy bay in place of prehistoric Gallisou is defined by hills and low mountains and is 8 km from Ermoupoli. Galissas is the major resort of Syros. The chapel of St. Pakous the top of the hill that overlooks the beach and the village of Agios Stefanos, a church built inside a cave, are two sites that should not be missed. Opportunities for swimming and water sports will give you crystal clear waters of the bay.
