The hotel Adelais is located in Tavronitis village of Platanias Municipality. It lies 20 km west of Chania, Crete. Tavronitis is a village with history as from this village began the German invasion in the Battle of Crete on May 20, 1941. In the eastern part of the village is a bridge built by the Germans who then occupied the airport of Maleme, which borders Tavronitis.

The beach of Tavronitis is a pebble beach ideal for swimming and sunbathing (sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.). There are options for both food and drink on the beach and in the village as well. Also in the village of Tavronitis you can find news store, mini markets, bakery, pastry shop, internet cafe, gas station, pharmacy and generally the visitor has easy access to everything needed in an everyday routine.
