How are the 7 Euro notes?

There are seven euro notes that correspond to 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5 Euro with different colours- including different lights of green, yellow, blue, purple and orange - and different sizes.
The notes have common both sides for all the countries of EMU.

In the competition that the European Monetary Institute (EMI) has commenced in February 1996, the design of Robert Klina from the central Bank of Austria has won. It has been made official by the Council of ENI and it has been presented by the European Council of London, hence the final plans were announced. All notes will bring perfected characteristics of security.

Without having presented any of +the existing monuments, they are inspired of the architectural heritage of Europe. Windows and gates decorate the front side of every note as a symbol of great spirit and cooperation that characterises the European Union.
The other side of every note pictures a bridge of a specific era, a metaphotical picture of communication amongst nations of Europe and between Europe and the rest of the world.
