Designed around the theme of an animal park, Children's Ark is in fact an ark where children play happily in harmony with nature. A bridge separates the section for the younger ones, 6 month- to 3 year-olds, from the other section where the 4-8 year-olds are playing their own games.

Playgrounds are both indoor and outdoor, especially designed to protect children from over-exposure to the sun. A vegetable garden is where children enjoy themselves while learning how to grow tomatoes and other Greek vegetables.

There are two shallow pools attached to Children's Ark properly supervise at all times and equipped with the most up-to-date water ionization and purification devices. There is space for resting, a dining room and children's toilettes and showers.
The philosophy guiding this program is that the children learn something about the Greek way of life and Greek history and culture, while having fun with other children from a multi-ethnic background

Activities include: play acting and circus acting; construction of a doll or a mask; simple Greek cookies' baking; mini Olympic games in the water or on the track; ceramics, batik, drawing and collage with natural media; treasure hunt; garden cultivation and traditional games in nature.
