 - Cruises from Cyprus

Top of page

Cyprus is often referred to as the gateway to the Eastern Mediterranean. Many Cypriot cruise companies take you through that gateway to Egypt and the Holy Land. The cruise programmes have been designed specifically to suit all varying travel requirements, including departure days and destinations by offering three types of cruises:

i.                     Two-day cruises to Egypt which include a visit to the Cairo Museum and the Pyramids.

ii.                   Two-day cruises to the Holy Land which include a visit to Holy places in Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

iii.                  Three-days combination cruises to Egypt and the Holy Land which include the above mentioned excursions.

The ships usually leaves Lemesos Harbor late afternoon arriving in Haifa or Port-Said the next day, early in the morning and departing again from there in the evening to return to Lemesos the following morning.
The cruises are usually operational all the year round by large and comfortable cruise ships which offer full broad accommodation and entertainment at very reasonable prices thus making a Holiday in Cyprus richer and more beautiful.
Booking for short cruises can be made while on holiday in Cyprus through the representatives of a tour operators or a Travel Agency. Please note that many tour operators in Europe are featuring the cruises in their holiday brochures.
From April to October visitors to Cyprus can extend their stay by taking a 7-day cruise from Lemesos to Greece and the Greek islands, Egypt and the Holy Land.
